Brilliant, just brilliant. Original, sharp, contemporary, funny & beautifully illustrated. A little book that deserves to last as long as the classic version that inspired it.

This quirky little book has plenty of attitude. While it's clearly suited to the stocking-filler market, it shouldn't be confined to that & anyone who likes a bit of spice & swearing with their fables should get plenty of giggles out of this. The illustrations are very clever & well worth spending a few minutes on; the devil is in the detail.

An enjoyable little book which brings many a laugh to the reader. The illustrations are especiallly funny with many intricate details which add to this comical story. Definitely a great stocking filler for Christmas or an extra for someone's birthday.
