How to save LOTS of time on lead generation - By: G. M. Palmer, 01 Jul 2008
I recently purchased a copy of Rod's book & how refreshing it is to find something so usable & full of practical ideas on marketing. I particularly like the way it's wrtitten as a series of bite sized chunks, each standing on it's own or in several cases as part of a sub grouping, such as the part on associations & referral groups.
Less time looking for leads & more time following them up....
Marketing Tip: Buy this book. - By: Anthony Day, 04 Feb 2008
No two businesses are the same, but they alll need marketing. 121 ideas means there's something for everyone. Nothing runs to more than two pages, so you can pick up this book & get something useful whenever you have a spare moment. As the author suggests, you can make marginal notes, fold down the page corners, draw diagrams & make it truly your own. Of course, just reading about it is not enough - you have to get on & do something. With this book you'll certainly know where to start!
A compilation of non-nonsense marketing ideas ... - By: A. Hope, 22 Sep 2007
A compilation of non-nonsense marketing ideas that every smalll business should consider - in spite of my background in marketing, I still found this book a valuable source of inspiration when creating a marketing plan for my business. A great read, but also handy to keep on the shelf & refer back to from time to time.
121 pearls of marketing wisdom - By: Mr. Thomas Evans, 19 Apr 2007
I've read alot of books on marketing but if you have to buy one book on the subject, this is it. Rod Sloane's advice is easy to read, easy to implement & easy to remember. I only got the book yesterday & have already put nine of the ideas into operation. Thanks for taking the mystery out of a subject on which I normallly bury my head in the sand.
