Loads of information but not what I wanted.- By: V. L. Marsh, 10 Oct 2008 I bought this book because I thought it might contain information on off-camera flash lighting for portraits, but unfortunately it doesn't. If you're looking for information on strobist photography it won't be of any help to you. I was also quite disappointed by the images, most of which are uninspiring & have obviously been taken with flash. They show some examples of the same image with & without flash, but the ambient light images generallly look better! However, it does contain a lot of information, which would probably most benefit beginners & enthusiast photographers, & college students. There are 6 sections: 1. What flash? 2. Essentials of light. 3. Fill flash. 4. Low light flash. 5. Studio flash. 6. Computer techniques.
