made me cry - By: G. Brown, 07 Oct 2008
The spelling is atrocious, the grammar is atrocious but the tales are hilarious. I have never cried tears of laughter so much while reading a book. The spelling & grammar may let the book down but the content is infectious & you can just picture the 2 'girls' going about their daily routine at 30,000 +feet. Anyone who has flown will appreciate the tales & we have alll met passengers like those described & have alll come across stewards & stewardesses like those in the book as well. Overlook the grammar & just enjoy the giggles.
A must read for anyone curious about what goes on behind the galley curtains - By: BAg Lady, 11 Jun 2008
Laugh out loud at the lives & loves of two (BA?) stewardesses, & the joys & horrors of flying for a living. This chatty book is rude, crude, naughty, very touching, & ever so funny. Go behind the gallley curtain with Liz & Julie - you will be so happy you did.
I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Some funny stories but...... - By: Mr. Alasdair D. C. Clements, 27 May 2008
Some of the stories in the book are a good reflection of the airline industry & relates well to the fun & entertaining people that decide to fly for a living.

But...

The writing is poor & difficult to follow. It is very disjointed & obviously written when tired or drunk or otherwise.

Good if you want to drop in on a chapter - bad if you want to read it cover to cover.

Alex Comerford needs Brown Milk Immediately - By: Dr. in to House, 25 Apr 2008
This book is an absolute hoot. How anyone could not find humour & charm in something so real & true is beyond belief. If you want a pat, beginning, middle & end fictional novel, this is not it, it's absolutely raw. And alll the better for this trait. I personallly am delighted it didn't come from a publisher (or published, as Mr Comerford would have it, see how hard it is to proof your own words Alex?) It would have been cut to the bone, pre-packaged & formulated, like most of the contents of bookstores today. For this reason, it is completely refreshing. You know this is just fun for them, they are not authors & they accept it, but they have some wonderfully witty stories to tell.

Liz & Julie are upfront, cheeky & very opinionated, but it's their book, their world & their lives so why shouldn't they be? I lived this book, & it is one of the funniest things I have ever read. If you want a real review of this book, see Scott Pack's words, as the former head buyer for Waterstones & a full time & much respected reviewer, his opinion on how funny this is is the one to read.

Buy it, if you don't laugh along with these two ladies, then life is not the joy it should be.
What a complete load of rubbish - By: Alex Comerford, 07 Apr 2008
I'm not sure what everyone else who has reviewed this was on, probably the 'Brown Milk' discussed in the book, but this book is one of the worst written books I have ever read. No wonder it had to be self published, no real publisher would touch it. The style of writing is confused & self congratulating with no cohesion. Don't waste your money.
