Straight To Business - No Nonsense Advice - By: kabo, 31 Mar 2007
This book blasts away the BS & overcomplication so often given to the subject of persuasion by simply being real.

Simon's direct, conversational & often humorous style brings life to the real stories of how the techniques work in real life.

Plus, don't be put off by the title. This isn't a 'hard sell' manual but more a stipped back, effective system for getting the sale & making your customers happy in the process!
Not sure about this one - By: J. Holt, 04 Feb 2007
Simon is clearly a very energetic guy. I came across this author through an email campaign which seems to have been a cross-fertilisation from a similar individual. The key take-away I got from this book is about asking for the order & being aggressive in pursuit of the sale - Mmm never heard that before. There was also some stuff around NLP i.e. "BUY the time you read this MY BOOK" etc If you are into that, I implore you to read Derren Brown's recent hardback & reconsider. Simon Hazeldine's negotiation book was a little better.
Really hits the spot! - By: Sarah Graham, Inspired! Magazine, 18 Sep 2006
Simon Hazeldine has been writing articles for my magazine Inspired! for some time. The magazine is aimed at people in direct sales but Simon's understanding of what makes people tick runs through every page of his book. He doesn't just tell what works he says why it works & so the reader gets to reallly understand how to apply the techniques & what makes them so successful. It's more than a book about selling, it's a study of human nature that can be applied to any situation. It's a whole training course that can be used again & again.
Punching it's weight - By: N. Percy, 15 Jun 2006
At last, a book that does what it says on the tin. This is selling down to the bone. However, these are not basic lessons; this is the advice, the tips & tricks you wish you would have received when you first set out. Simon writes in an engaging ways which makes Bare Knuckle Selling a book you will want to read.
Truly superior - By: Mark Symmo Symmonds, 06 Jun 2006
As a selling how-to, this book is truly superior. Its brimming with straightforward strategies that anyone can use to increase sales. I like the author's straightforward style - he reallly cuts to the chase! The chapter on closing the sale is some of the very best stuff I've read on selling.
