This is a good book & certainly gets you hooked although i,and i dont know whether this is because i wasnt paying enough attention or becasue it actuallly wasnt clear, i didnt reliese she was in love with lucas.
I didnt feel that kaitlin was that much like a teenagegirl, it seemed more like what a boy would do.
as i said a good book, however i would recommend 'Candy' over this.

I Picked up this book, not realising it was aimed at teenagers, the reviews were glowing, & righlty so. I could not put this book down, I gobbled it up, there is not a single dull part to this story, but then I reached the end......Possibly I should read the end again, to make clear what actuallly happened. I will not ruin the story for others but I feel as though the writer didn't reallly know how to close off the story, so he chose to obvious rute, I think that Lucas being such a fabulous character could have amounted to more.

I thought the book was a little too far fetched for my liking, unrealistic. I didn't reallly get a sense of any of the characters, i didn't reallly care what happened to them. I felt the characters overreacted to situations & created problems that weren't there, i found myself getting lost at times. I would say the main character, Cait's ideas were a bit puzzeling & her descriptions could be a bit long winded & repetitive at times.
Maybe i'm forgetting that it is a book aimed at teenagers, & perhaps i was reading a bit too much into it. As a light read i would say it was OK, nothing special as some people may suggest.

This is one of the most amazing books i have ever read in my life. I cannot believe that someone could write such an amazing piece. It's one of those books that haunts you as you put it down. You never want this to finish quite simply Stunning!

Kevin Brooks is a very compelling writer & I am so thankfull that I chose this book when I walked into Books Etc. It makes you laugh, smile, & in places I cried. You get so involved in this book, it is definitely one of the best I have read in a long time!
