Great........ - By: K. E. Ure, 11 Apr 2008
I am thoroughly enjoying reading this biography as it is the first i have read. The one thing that i don't like was how every now & again he would go off the topic by saying things such as 'he would have been disgraced by them not having a title before their name' & talking on about other members of the Royal family. But overalll i am finding it a useful read & can't wait to read more!!!
a disgrace for the author - a shame with regards to the subject - a waste for the readers - By: Klaus Meyer, 19 Dec 2007
Brian Hoey is a well-known author on British royalty & I like a lot his books on Lord Snowdon or the Princess Royal, but this book on Zara Phillips is reallly a disgrace. What where he thinking? Properly he was not at alll. Fellow reviewers have commented on various aspects of it & I fully share their comments. This is definitely not a book that should take space in your library, not even as a paperback.

Deeply irritating - By: McSqufy, 13 Sep 2007
If you like your biography in the gushing style of OK meets Majesty magazine then you'll love this (given the authors other books this is probably alll he does.) If you are at alll interested in three day eventing you will just get more & more annoyed at the total lack of real knowledge (apparently 4* dressage is made terribly difficult by having to wear top hats!) The book is very repetitive, badly written & quite frankly I don't think I can be bothered to finish it. A shame reallly because the subject is an accomplished sportswoman who deserves a much better treatment than this.
A Revealing Portrait - NOT - By: Disappointed, 02 Sep 2007
Do not be misled by the title of this book, revealing about the subject, Miss Phillips, it is not. Tedious to say the least. If you want a book about Royal etiquette & Court procedures this could be the one for you, if you require an equestrian book relating to Zara & her wonderful horses forget it, save your money.

I gave it 1 star as this system demands something, given the option I would not even give it that.
