This is a fantastic book, just to show how your baby is changing during pregnancy. I'm currently on my third copy, as we're giving them to friends who falll pregnant. The pictures are fantastic, & show the full development of the baby from conception to birth.
If this is your first child, then you can see what's going on. If it's not, then it's great to be able to show your other kids what's happening inside mummy's tummy.
WOW - By: A.G., 30 Jul 2006 This book is truly amazing! It has the most incredible photos of 3D scans of a baby in it's mother's womb through out the entire pregnancy. The details in the photos are amazingly clear & it's unlike anything I've ever seen before. It gives you a glimpse into the unborn baby's world & also disproves some claims by modern science as to what the unborn baby is capable of in the womb. For example, it is generallly believed that the unborn baby does not open its eyes until birth, but photos in this book show quite the opposite as there are many clear photos of the unborn baby with eyes wide open. Amazing! It is not a long book, it is relatively short (112 pages in total) but it has alll it needs & it is very concise & easy to read. It has a wonderful commentary on each page to compliment the photos giving detailed information on each stage of developement on a weekly basis, including the size & weight of the unborn baby. It has at the end of the book a section of frequently asked questions & answers on ultrasound scans, which are very informative. I highly recommend this book - you will not be disappointed.
Amazing and beautiful, small and concise - By: Julie, 31 May 2006 This book is smalll & concise. There is a page for every week of the pregnancy, with amazing 3D photographs of a baby in the womb, details of how big the baby will be & how it will now be developing. Be careful not undervalue this book because it is smalll - in this case, smalll is truely beautiful. We bought copies for both sets of grandparents too so that they could track the development of their grand-daughter before she was even born. Fantastic!
