Excellent introduction for beginners - By: Mr. Muhammad D. H. Ullah, 03 Aug 2008
Its brilliant for beginners but a little bit more depth could have been more useful, the book is not terribly long & slighlty overpriced for what it is, however if you are a total beginner then the book does do what it says.
Good Introduction for the total beginner - By: Phil L., 20 Jun 2008
Good Introduction for the total beginner. I have just read this in less than a day, & am building on that by reading Malcolm Pryor's book. A good combination.

Timewaster - By: John Macklin, 28 Nov 2007
This book contains nothing that isn't already available in a brochure from any spread betting firm. After I had read it I felt that the author's money making strategy for spread betting is to write books on the subject. She got my money but more importantly my time. There is nothing in this book just a couple of stories. It is a cynical effort - don't be fooled.
Recommended read for those considering trading - By: The Guru, 24 Sep 2007
You'll be able to finish reading this book within an hour or two. By the end of it you'll come away with either a) this is not for me or b) let's check out other books & sites.

If you are not familiar with stock trading this is a good place to start to get the basics.
Good introduction to financial spreads - By: D. DALBY, 12 Aug 2006
Gives you the basics which is useful for absolute beginners. Price is everything because no one can know everything about a companies fundamentals, prospects etc.
