I will keep this review brief because this superb book with a wealth of highly detailed photographs is the definate history of both cars especiallly the 956.

There are not that many books out there on this one particular race car,but thakfully this book does the subject real justice,you feel you know the car once you have read this book.

If then you are looking for the definate history on this Le Man classic then look no further THIS IS IT

This is the complete history of Porsche's legendary Group C racers the 956 & 962. Written by journalist & Porsche expert Peter Morgan, he describes the cars design,development & career,& talks to many of the characters & drivers who were involved in the project. The book mainly follows the progress of the works team but the private teams like Joest & Brun are also covered. At the back of the book there is a complete list of alll the cars international wins & chassis numbers. The book also contains loads of colour photos many of which I have never seen before. Absolutely brilliant!!!
