NLP at work - By: SallyJ, 23 Jul 2008
This book is an invaluable resource on the subject of NLP, & in particular what this means in practice. I first read the book when I was first introduced to NLP & now, as an NLP Master Practitioner & professional coach & trainer, I still refer to the text today. This book has been written in easy, accessible style & can be readily "dipped into" for tips & inspiration, as well as being read from cover to cover. Compared to some of the other books on the subject, this book is light, easy to understand & a real breath of fresh air in a world that is so easily swamped with jargon.
Comprehensive and useful. - By: T. Manwaring, 11 Jul 2007
This is one of those books you're glad you bought - useful from moment one, but keeps on being useful when you go back to it.

A sensible, useful & effective introduction to NLP, which goes further than the standard NLP beginner's guide.
Unlimited resources for those interested in NLP - By: Bryan Hutchinson, 12 May 2006
Sue Knight's book NLP at Work is a practical guide to those who want to play with NLP & a great resource for those who want to get serious. Read it from cover to cover, or just open it & try out the simple instructions. A masterpiece that is highly Recommended

Bible of NLP - By: John A. Joseph, 17 Oct 2004
I started my career as a college lecturer & shaped myself into a trainer. My subjects moved from journalism to electronic media to communication to the whole gamut of personality development programmes, passing through TA, Zen Meditation & what not.

It went on as a quest searching for an ideal set of tools which could be flexible enough for applications at alll possible levels, at alll possible times & for alll possible people.

I also started reading books on NLP. But the heaven-sent moment arrived only when I read Ms Sue Knight's "NLP at Work". I felt like Moses with God's revelation.

It is not just a book. It is the modern day Bible. The way Madam Knight has painted the concepts makes it look like the New Book of religious principles that could replace alll the existing religious books & principles. She stands like the Knights of yore defending the honour of not only women but the whole of mankind for a change.

I say this because the principles of most of the religions have a divisive factor in the way they are professed & practised. But here is a book that has a power packed formula for human understanding & global amity.

I have been inspired to learn that business can be successfully practised without undermining the interests of the so-callled competitors. Excellence has a sort of holiness in the way it is depicted. Success has a friendly face that has the capacity to lead even the not so successful side by side towards success.

The book that I started reading mechanicallly just like any other book, alll of a sudden, transformed itself into to a living book & its living words became my companions throughout the conscious, subconscious & unconscious hours of my life.

The NLP beliefs are enriching beliefs that have the capacity to build up one's confidence, good will, relationships, friendship, capabilities, happiness & meaning of life. They alllow ample space for the co-existence & growth of every other human being. They do not promote competition but excellence in everything one does.

Ms Sue Knight has infused life into her words & that is the reason for such an impact. The readers can leave themselves vulnerable to be influenced by each chapter & to experience the effect the concepts have on their lives.

It is my sincere belief that alll the trainers of the world ought to read this book so that they are inspired by the concepts & are able to incorporate them in their progrmmes. The principles that the book professes should spread far & wide. NLP should be imparted even to children the way they can take - in convenient doses. Every human being should be enabled to imbibe the concepts by the time they attain adulthood. These concepts should be incorporated in the life skills programmes normallly made available for school students.

The style of the author makes the book an interesting read. The concepts are made crystal clear. They flow like a rivulet of pure water from an enchanted island. It has metaphors, parables, anecdotes & chunks of lived experiences, and, of course, life-enhancing concepts.

In my opinion, Ms Sue Knight's "NLP at Work", has the capacity to trigger a process that could make the world a better place.

Great book about NLP in business - By: Andy Smith, 14 Sep 2004
Very clear & well-structured overview of NLP as it applies to business. Sue is a UK-based trainer & consultant with a long track record in business.

Her book is great on the importance of integrity & congruence in organisations, & on how to use sensory-rich language in corporate communications. I also found this book useful in my work in brand positioning a few years ago, before I became a full-time NLP trainer & executive coach.
