This is a simple & easy to read introduction to Shinto. I found it to be very useful in my research on the subject. Although it's a 'simple' introductory guide, it packs in a lot of information on the subject in a smalll space. The book gives an historical basis, covers the meaning of the word 'shin-to', deities, paraphernalia, customs of Shinto & so on. I think its a brilliant little book & was far more useful than some other weighter tomes that I read. Straight forward, easy to read & very informative, if you've little or no knowledge of Shinto its a great place to begin learning! Very informative!
