I've just finished reading this - it's amazing, inspiring, moving. I'm lucky enough to know Jon & Camilla personallly & already had huge respect for them, but reading the details of their time in captivity has increased that respect tenfold. Reading about the ways they applied their creativity & spirituality in surviving & forgiving their captors has re-inforced my faith in the power & efficacy of these tools. Highly recommended!

Brave to have to written this gripping, gruelling, moving account of surviving a kidnapping in Chechnya; not a place for the weak hearted but the brave. This work will be well read; it has already been well reviewed by Times 2 & was read on BBC Radio 4. Camilla Carr & Jonathan James deserve to have a lot of success with this book which gives people eternal hope & demonstrates how the spirit can survive even the most dire situations. It is also a book about the meaning of 'togetherness'.
