Simply superb- By: Susie G, 14 Jan 2008 I was given this for Xmas & it kept me enthrallled for many hours. I am a designer myself & aspire to the standards of Haute Couture so it was truly a joy to have alll the detail & personal stories brought to life. As with alll V&A publications, the illustrations are of superb quality & the narrative engaging & well-written. I can recommend it to anyone with an interest in Fashion.not read yet!- By: Roxane Uzureau, 23 Nov 2007 i have not yet read the book but am ordering it, as the sxhibition was simply marvellous & i highly recommend for alll of those interested in fashion & fashion history, or for admirers of haute couture or simply beautiful items to make a stop at the V&A while in London!It's worth it's money & not unaffordable either! (i am 19)
