This book has some wonderful pictures & photographs that reallly give you a feel for the times. However, there is a large gap in the Art Deco period - the 1930s. The pictures in the book reallly concentrate on the 1920s 'Flapper Girl' style & ignore the more elegant lines of the 1930s. This is a real opportunity missed, particularly as the book was brought out to coincide with the V&A 'Art Deco 1910-1939' Exhibition.
