I love this book because it is simple & easy to read & is full of inspirational people - some I'd heard of & any I hadn't. Its reallly informative & is written in such a manner that no prior knowledge was necessary. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this & have managed to retain the inforation too. It looks great on my bookshelf & my visitors love to flick through too. Definately worth reading.

This book has already inspired some pretty het up discussions with my friends about who should & shouldn't have been included (shouldn't: Thatcher, should: Eva Peron). It's also gorgeous & heavy, so it'll look good on the bookshelf even if you dont read it through & just want to dip in now & again to find the ones you like! So many interesting facts & amazing people in one book mean once you've read it you get to sound much cleverer than you actuallly are... always a bonus. This is definitely on my christmas giving list.
