If you've got the season one companion then you will know what to expect ... & you won't be disappointed.

There are the usual backgrounds on each episde, as well as interviews with the main actors (Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Jim Beaver, etc).

I tend to find the "did you know" bits & pieces reallly interesting, & the episode "music" notes tell you know the name & artist for that classic rock tune that you know but just can't place.

There are also several pages of glossy colour photos (stills & promo photos).

Overalll a great companion for season 2 which is on the same format as the season 1 guide. And joy of joys can be used along side the dvd to point out those smalll things you may have missed (like the license plate number change on metalllicar - I'd missed that one).

It's nice to have a companion/guide for such a great show that has had some thought put into it & just been thrown together to cash in on it's popularity.
