This a fantastic compendium of early Batman stories. This is how the Dark Knight should be seen. The sometimes crude artwork can't disguise the Pulpish exuberance as the Batman happily breaks a thugs neck & hangs a transformed lunatic from the Batplane ('He's probably better off this way'!).
One thing to be aware of is that a couple of the stories have been seen in 'The Greatest Batman Stories Ever Told' & 'Batman in the Forties'.
It is superb value for money as I guess it's a cheaper version of the Batman Archives.
This is a great buy for anyone who enjoys the early days of the Batman or who is interested in seeing his development.
