Paperback format, 26 pages in the popular `two-page spread' prose format, e.g.:-

With tired, drooping necks

Superbly illustrated in pastels throughout.

A friend lent us their copy & we liked it so much we had to buy it! Beautiful illustrations set off with a gentle rhyming story about the animals going to bed - my 18month old son likes this to be the last book before bedtime, he points out alll the animals as they settle down to sleep has his "big hippo hug" & then as alll the animals are asleep is happy to go to bed himself. Thorough;y recommended - you won't be disappointed.
