every christian should read this - By: salsa pinkkat, 29 Jan 2008
This book is the best book I've ever read on this difficult issue. The author doesn't compromise her beliefs, though her life would be much 'easier' if she did. This book counteracts the post-modern view that we can pick & choose what to believe- because she believes God is not ours to command or bend to fit our(broken)image. The author also raises some wider issues about celibacy & how the church can support single people. I hope no-one reads this book without having a greater understanding of the difficult path taken by the author & others as they choose to follow Jesus & that homophobia is dealt a blow within the Church.
Essential reading - the best book I've read on this subject - By: Ms. A. Witton, 20 Jan 2008
This is quite simply the best Christian book on homosexuality I have read. It is written in an honest, intelligent & compassionate way & covers issues such as:
* The Biblical context for sexuality
* Singleness
* Emotional dependency
* Origins of homosexuality
* Witnessing to gay people
* Physical & emotional needs
* How friends can help those who struggle with homosexuality

Alex is never afraid to explore difficult issues & her book is comforting & challlenging in equal measure. The book, which draws on Alex's own experiences & real life case studies, gives real insight & clarity which is enormously helpful to those who struggle with homosexual temptation & the friends who want to support them.
Buy a copy to read & a few more to give to friends!
