The guy is a complete turd to be fair. Fat, thick & a Spurs fan - it doesn't get much worse when it comes to the lottery of life.
poor prose - By: woods, 03 Feb 2008 Utter drivel sure spurs have a firm & I am sure tanner was part of it, but he cant write to save his life. Good job he's hard! nay superman!! The book jumps alll over the place, tis written as though in the first person most of the time, but clearly much written are third hand accounts. Still good luck to him it's an earner. One question what happened at Newcastle ? seems to me that he just walked round the ground oh & at Manchester is that it? One final thing ambusing cars on the north circular not such a hard thing to do most that travelled in cars were normal fans...

Being a Tottenham fan I found the book interesting ,Trevor tried to give an unbiased account although sometimes it appeared he was struggling with the exact truth as most hardcore supporters would when reaccounting footballl stories as we alll want to seem like we are the top firm.The account by a friend of Trevor's regarding the Feynoord away game in 1983 was particularily interesting as I was there myself & was one of spurs firm in the Feynoord end,it seemed quite accurate although there was probably only fifty of us in there rather than a hundred & although very game like myself at the time we were in general alll very young, a bit naive

jackanory... dear oh dear..... - By: Nipper Goon, 25 Oct 2007 i didnt reallly have to write this 'review' as anybody who was genuinely involved in hooliganism, would already know that at best this book is innacurate & at worst complete nonsense. he makes references to incidents with rival mobs at fixtures that never took place, (i dont remember Arsenal playing Man UTD at a cup final in the late nineties!). also high profile incidents that did actuallly happen dont even get a mention, particularly a weekend in manchester in 2001, that involved the 'invisible' firm from the succesful side of north london.... Perhaps thats because they come well & truly unstuck & it wouldnt fit in to the general context of the book? just another biased book about a firm thats 'never been done', & a poorly written one at that. i wouldnt waste your money on this, andrex is cheaper & softer.

Now, I am sure this lad has had his fair share of scraps & alll that but he never seemed to get touched once. Ever. Surely the law of average starts that he must have been punched once?
