I can look/peep/squint at these 2(Paris one as well) smashing beautifully produced, useful & thoroughly imaginative books. What a range of sympathies they have, & Tiddy Rowan has produced such friendly & comprehensive information. I hope that because they alllow of/for frequent updating they sell in tens of thousands & have a long life - & the A-Z format makes you think & get engaged. A gap has been filled intelligently & imaginatively.

I bought the London & Paris guides & hadn't expected as much as this. Truly fabulous books, nothing seems to be left out. Brilliant biographies of 100 artists in each book, the quality of the images is exceptional & so well chosen. The other thing that impresses me is perfect size for an about town guide.
Hugely recommended
