Whilst working undercover Rocky found himself drawn to the BDSM scene, discovering himself to be a dominant male in need of a totallly submissive woman. He is however willing to give up his own sexual preferences if it means getting his girl. After discovering Sandra's hidden fantasies he is overjoyed, knowing her to be his perfect woman. The Mastering by Jaid Black
Nicolette returns to Earth in anticipation of her beloved stepdaughter Nellie giving birth. On route her aeroplane is shot down & she is saved from a forced group marriage by the very subhuman who captured her in the earlier Death Row trilogy. This book further explores their strange relationship & contains insights into Nica's early life with Abdul Khan, Nellie's father. Though this book was well written, the identity of the subhuman came as no surprise at alll.
I purchased this book solely for Jaid Black's offering, which was by far the best story in this anthology. Although alll these stories were entertaining, the characters richly drawn & each author offering a different slant on the domination of her heroine, I was left overwhelmed by the BDSM scenes & darkly erotic encounters. Though a fan of hot romance, this isn't reallly my cup of tea & I would therefore not recommend it for fans of more lighthearted & humourous romance.
