I love this book! - By: Freya Fowles, 05 Jun 2008
I bought this on recommendation & have been 100% happy with it - it's full of incredibly useful information both for runners just starting out & for those who've been running for longer - my husband even likes to read bits & he's a hardcore 42 minute 10K runner of a few years now! For me, I am looking to lose weight & get fit & even I can manage to do the programme - it's so easy & I'm actuallly at the point where I look forward to going out. Reallly can't praise it enough!

If your considering taking up running or returning after a long lay off this is a bright, fun & funky guide with loads of practical tips. The training routine eases you in & over the weeks builds your fitness up to running a half or full marathon. Its also full of inspiring real life stories to motivate you, a reallly good introduction.
If I can, anyone can! - By: Dizzyblonde, 16 Apr 2008
This is a truly fantastic book. I have been overweight & unfit since childhood & the thought of exercise didn't appeal. However, my sister is getting married later this year & I've got to wear a frock. Having stumbled on this book just after Christmas, I thought I would give running a go. It is truly inspirational, easy to follow & written in a way that makes me smile & think yeah - I can do it! The fist session I struggled to jogg for 60 seconds, but I kept with it. I completed the 10 weeks & have lost over a stone in weight, I feel so much healthier & fitter. I completed my first 5K 'run' last night & managed to jog alll the way in a time of 33 minutes & 37 seconds. I would never have thought I would enjoy running, but I love it! I'm already on the 10K plan & have entered The Great Women's 10K in the middle of June. Go on - If I can, anyone can!
Give it a go!!! - By: R. E. Rice, 06 Apr 2008
Before I purchased this book I would say that I used every excuse for why I couldnt exercise. But after being recommended this book I decided to give it a go. Well Im now on week six & getting up at six o'clock (usuallly unheard of)most mornings & throughly enjoying the whole experience.Im not claiming to be the next Zola Budd but I am feeling quite pleased with myself that for once I can stop using those excuses.
Fantastic! - By: M. Dasani, 25 Mar 2008
I bought this book earlier this year as I wanted to get fit & healthy without any extreme dieting. It has fantastic advice on getting started & taking you from lazy to fit in a matter of months.
I'm in the 7th week of my 60 second plan & I feel great. A lot of people think running is as easy as slipping on your trainers & running a few miles, but if your starting out, it's far from that.
If your commited, this book can also take you to competing in races, even the marathon within a year. I'm already confident enough that i'll be running in the London marathon 2009.
This book has helped my running so much, & can do the same for you,
