I would highly recommend this book to any beginners out there who are starting their Wiccan Path. It is very easy to follow & explains alot of the basics in easy to understand language.
A great Wicca 101 book - By: RDWHITE, 09 Apr 2008
This is a reallly good introduction to Wicca, & I would definately recommend it to anyone starting out in the faith. However, the Wicca presented in this book is clearly "New Age" inspired; there is very little about the history of Wicca or it's largely occultic influences. If you are looking for a lighter, more positive, cleaner version of Wicca then the traditional, darker version then this book is definatelty more recommendable, even if it is less accurate.
Ok, depends on what you want - By: Althaea Medea, 23 Feb 2008
Whether this book will be useful to you depends on exactly what you want. If you want a basic explanation of some of its key practices, beliefs etc... then it's a good book. It is very light & gentle, & gives a few ok examples of rituals.
However it goes into nothing in depth, so anyone with more than a passing interest in Wicca may well be disappointed. For the same reason it would be little use to an established Wiccan.
If you're an interested beginner it's not a bad book, but if you want depth or detail then you should look elsewhere.
The Wicca Bible - By: Mother Willow, 20 Jan 2008
An invaluable resource for anyone beginning on or curious about the craft, Ann-Marie Galllagher has written this in an easy format suitable for any age of reader. Each chapter is in perfect syncronicity & flows onto the next just as the wheel of the year. Highly informative & accurate while being in the right centuary. Still wouldn't be without mine! Blessed Be this Book - By: RDWHITE, 10 Aug 2007
This book is an excellant book about wicca which covers pretty much everything ranging from differant types to the Kabbalah. It's also handy & easy to read. The author seems kind & friendly giving this book an extra plus. While this would not be good for advanced Wiccans it is an excellant introduction to the craft. The only problem that I can reallly see with it is a lack of information on the history of the religion.
