Worst ever to come out of Osprey mass production... - By: Thomas Raymann, 19 Dec 2006
For the new Millennium Osprey took on a new strategic & globalised outlook on it's loyal customers callled "rip off".
I can see the young team of up an coming managers "economic students" advising Osprey on the new road to money, old customers fallling by the wayside...just collateral damage...!
The grand quality of text & plates of earlier years was sacrificed by these young preachers of globalised hell by flooding the market with quantity not quality while lining their pockets by overpricing the garbage they expected the loyal following to buy.
Dunbar 1650 is with distance the worst writing to ever have been alllowed to leave an Osprey printing press.
Boring, not knowing what to fill the pages with, average plates & kindergarten maps...but need I say more? It's what we've got used to from Osprey over the last few years.

This text is triple the length of the book text, you understand what is going on, you know what it was about & you remember the contents when you've finished. Best of alll it's free of charge!
Check the net before you buy overpriced contentless Osprey books!
One wonders where Nazi book burning parties are with books like Dunbar 1650.
Don't even want to give it one star...
Utter waste of money & an insult to history.
