This book is an excellent resource for those who may not be so familiar with the workings of SPSS. I could not have carried out my data analysis without it. The language is clear, concise & extremely easy to read & deals with the most simple procedures to more complex statistical manipulations of data. The chapter on Exploratory Data Analysis finallly made this whole topic understandable! An absolute MUST for anyone wishing to use SPSS for analysis of data - it even refers you to good chapters within stats books for more indepth information.

This is a good book for someone who knows what they want to do with their stats, but needs prompting on how to do it. It has step by step instructions & examples of what the screen will look like, & gives help on how to select a test. Suitable for degree level & beyond.
