You don't have to be a gardener to enjoy this! In this 2 cd audio book, Alan talks a little about his background, gives us tales from behind the scenes of his TV shows & answers some questions put by his audience. He also includes anecdotes of others, such as Winston Churchill, alll of which are light hearted. There's even a classic Les Dawson joke I spotted in there!!

I was decorating when I first listened to this & I HATE decorating, but listening made it a much more pleasant task. It is alll humorous but there are also laught out loud moments.

The live audience can be heard which I found to add atmosphere rather than be irritating. All too often a show on the radio is spoiled by the too loud audience. Listening to these CDs is a very good way to spend a couple of hours!!
