The detailed maps were particularly helpful - despite its size (tiny!), Bermuda is criss-crossed by miles & miles of roads ranging from dual carriageway to jungly lane. With the Lonely Planet guide in your hand, you can explore the island without the fear of getting helplessly lost...providing you can map-read, of course.
In terms of listing & rating the sights, the beaches, & places to eat & drink, the guide was often invaluable & never less than helpful.
Obviously Bermuda is a very compact place, so the detail in the guide is perhaps not so surprising. I would be interested to see whether Lonely Planet guides to larger countries match up.
Highly recommended.
