Interesting how different teachers have different ideas. Most agree on basic grip, set-up & full swing teaching, but putting is very individual & Stan Uttley is clearly at odds with Dave Pelz's 'scientific' straight back & through pendulum putting stroke. Seems to me it depends on which method you prefer, & for me Pelz works better, so much of this book was unhelpful - but I suspect many would find a lot of useful pointers here; so if you've tried Pelz & it's not for you, give it a try.

Having laboured throught both of the Pelz guides (recently sold on ebay) I bought this book having seen Stan Utley on the Golf Channel.

I have had the book for about a month & I am already putting better, the book goes into very good detail on grip, stance & even equipment.It also explains why some people putt so badly.

I have overhauled the way I putt & I am now more aware of the problems I have & how to correct them.
