So yeah I've just got back from living in Japan & being vegan having to cook everyday & veganising many favourite japanese dishes. The recipes are good & the explanations are nice but...

Where are the photos?!? That's why we BUY cookbooks or we would just get it off the internet wouldn't we?!

This is a great book, because it's more than just recipies. The author goes through great lengths to explain potentiallly new ingredients & cooking techniques, as well as, traditional & non-traditional recipies made vegan. She also, explains how veganism is looked upon in Japan.
Good recipies end up being an added bonus.
