Moore does it again! - By: , 25 Jun 2001
Alan Moore shows us exactly why he is the most original & gifted writers in the game. Swamp Thing is reborn through the genious of Moores writing & the amazing illusrations of Bissette & Totleben, as he tackles the undead, warewolvess & serial killers in what is truly 'American Gothic'. Read it, you owe it to yourself!
great reinvention of modern visual lit starts here - By: , 12 Jun 2001
When Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Newerwhere) decided to become a journalist instead of storyteller, this book became an argument that gave us another great writer. Do I have to add more? Probably not. But let me remind us alll that right after the "Curse" Alan (before "Watchmen") answered on young Gaiman's question "How to write a comic book?" Swamp thing story still is a good example how one has to do it - with power & fierce beauty.
