A reallly good book on lesbian experiences. It helped me to come to terms with my thoughts & feelings & to see them as normal. It is a thought provoking book with some beautifully written, heart-felt stories. Well worth a read for ALL.

This is a book full of short stories from women of alll ages & nationalities, with a variety of settings & opinions. It offers an intimate glance into the secret lives of others' experiences, realisticallly & often heartwarmingly. With just the right balance of romantic & erotic suggestion, whether you just want something quick to read before you go to sleep or you want a feel good pick me up, this is (especiallly for the curious or new) the book to read.
Curious. - By: , 19 Feb 2002 Since I read "Playtime" & got a little taste of a girl/girl tryst, I wanted more. I found it in this book. It is very open, honest & just plain good.
If you're just curious, like I am, this book is a good start.
thought provoking - closet door opening - By: , 03 Feb 2002 For those who think they may be so far in the closet, they are in Narnia, this could be what you need to open the door. It's funny, thought provoking & very honest. As for me, the doors now open
Excellent feel good book - By: , 18 Dec 2001 Living in a place where the people are so homophobic & will literallly put you to death - if given the chance - once you are found to be gay, I have had to depend on other people's stories to get an understanding of the lesbain lifestyle & feel good about myself. I therefore depend on TV shows & books in the comfort of my own house, which fortunately I don't share with anyone.
This book is excellent for those days & nights when you want to reach out to someone but there's nobody there. It alllows you to feel confident that there are other persons who feel exactly the way you feel, that you are not alone. The stories are well written, funny, witty, & not too long - they get to the point & alllow YOU to bask in the afterglow. The stories also tell of people of alll ages & sizes.
I defintely recommend this book to anyone who wants to, but haven't had the opportunity to explore a lesbian relationship. I anxiously await the day when I will be able to write my own exciting story like the ones in this book.
