Vey thorough in its coverage of protocols, including DNS, LDAP & ASN.1 along with the usual suspects (SMTP, POP, IMAP, MIME, etc.). The choice of Visual Basic for code samples is, er, unusual but easy enough to follow. The text is clear, although the presentation is a bit dodgy at times.
