I've just finished Philip Pullan's trilogy, His Dark Materials Series & I think it is one of the best books I've ever read. The plot is deep & dense with moral themes to it as well. I rate this book a good five stars

I have now finished the trilogy & I found the Amber Spyglass to be the most gripping of the three. All three books are well written & entertaining, but for that"can't put it down" expieriance this was my favourite.
