I have not come across such a fantastic book for MRI physics, I was always afraid & running away from this never understood mri physics topic, but this book holds you in grip so interstingly with colorful diagramtaic presentations that one wants to read the whole book in one go.

I am sure this book is 100% fruitful for those who reallly want to understand the MR physics.

I think the other reviewer on this page must have been reviewing an earlier edition of MRI in Practice! The new third edition represents a quantum leap for this well known MRI text. This book is already a top seller & has helped hundreds of radiographers & techs in the UK & USA but the new edition is even better as it has alll-new colour diagrams & updated text.

I used this book for the first part of a masters degree. It is simple to use & clear in its design. The explanations are adequate & in the speak of the MR radiographer. It lacks in areas of more advanced techniques & still has a few flaws which are found, if you read more advanced literature. However, as a starter for the beginner & a review book for the more advanced it is more than adequate.
