I'm recommending this to all my coaching clients - By: J. Scott, 01 Sep 2008
I cannot recommend this book enough! Aside from the fact that I have found it personallly life-changing (the simple heart-brain breathing exercise in the first chapter is worth many times the cost of the book on its own), I have, in the past few months, recommended it to many of my life coaching clients. They have alll been delighted with it too.
Everyone should read this book, whether depressed or not! - By: Ms. R. A. Brown, 14 Apr 2008
This is a brilliant book. The balance of advice is excellent, from medical to common sense to alternative therapies, this man has a reallly sound outlook on life. It's not just psychological advice either ~ the chapters about doing voluntary work, exercise & nutrition are very helpful too & are important factors often forgotten by people looking for more complicated answers.
It confirmed some ideas I'd read elsewhere & gave me new ideas also.
If you're wavering about whether to buy this book or not, don't hesitate, buy it! It's well worth the money & time to invest in your wellbeing & life.

Exceptional.
A colossus who bestrides both Eastern & Western medicine.
This sort of thing the world needs in more than one area.
Now's the time.
As the great Rabbi Burns* was wont to remark (to many a maiden),
If not now, when?

The future of medicine - By: judith green, 06 Oct 2007
I think this book is a must for every adult reader. If everyone read it & used the self-help tools inside its covers, then the world would be a happier place - & they would feel happier too.
Is it too good to be true? I hope not!! - By: A. D. Goss, 31 May 2007
Still only half way through the book, however I am finding it both fascinating & enlightening. Assuming that each example David uses is factuallly correct, this book has to be a recommended read for alll physicians & patients alike. It seems to me that the traditional/drug based methods should be used only in severe cases, & alll of these ideas should be tried first.
For years alternative therapists & practitioners have applauded the use of one or more of these techniques, & may be a book like this can help enlighten the practise of mental healing & cure many many people.
