Don't let this book take up valuable real estate on your bookshelf - By: T. Amor, 14 Jun 2008
I was very disapponted with this book. After reading the first few chapters I resigned to scanning it for useful or interesting points. Each chapter is merely 1-3 pages long & made up of pointless or common sense snippets. Like a previous review the only new information I took from the book was 'you don't need tailor made suits' which isn't a real big insight. Some of the chapters had me laughing & others shaking my head in disbelief.

Another let down from this book is the week-in-the-life-of. I have heard good things about these parts of Mr. Trumps books, but was deeply bored as any interesting point was glazed over such as 'the contactor callled quoting the cost at $100,000 over budget, but I managed to negotiate him to $100,000 below budget' - how? Instead he conintues to go on name dropping & telling us where he was getting lunch from that day.

I would recommend you save you money or if you feel the need buy 'Trump: The Art of the Deal'. As an American review put it 'Don't let this book take up valuable real estate on your bookshelf!' - I couldn't agree more.
Interesting & motivational from the King of NYC real estate - By: , 03 Oct 2005
If like me, you knew who Donald Trump was, but it was the TV reality show "The Apprentice" that reallly brought him to my attention, then this book is the perfect place to begin....

Trump's books, alll of them, are very lavish & quite self indulgent, people don't sometimes like this form of writing & some calll Trump "arrogant" or "self involved" but if you wish to fully understand these books, you have to already accept that Mr. Trump is the best in his league, his "arrogant" attitude is reallly just confidence, & his "self involved attitude" is just someone who is confident enough to know they are good - it alll seems fair to me!

This book, Think Like A Billionaire, is a good place to start if you wish to read about Donald Trump - the books are not, as some think, boring page after page of useless business advice, & others claim the books to be low on advice, but this book is a geat combination of two things - Trumps sound advice, that is practical & makes sense, & a keyhole peep into the life that being a Billionaire is like.

The books has a lot of content in it, spanning from property advice to style advice (luckily though, none about hair!) from a billionaires point of view. The book is very interesting & makes you reallly want to just live like Trump can afford to.

Imagine if you will, a combination of a Jackie Collins novel & a university Business book, & you get where Trump is coming from, its a medium between a lavish lifestyle & a ruthless & highly talented business man.

Overalll, I wont fault the book, it doesnt deserve anything less than 5 stars because before entering into reading about Trump, you have to know what the guy is like, he is confident & very honest, what more do you need from a book!

Dont rely on it if parhaps, your trying to get a 1st in Business, its not a textbook, more of a guidebook into what could lie ahead if you follow the advice at the start of each chapter.

An exiting & motivating read from Trump, & he reallly is someone who knows what they are talking about!

Trumpýs incoherent egoistic rambling left me bored - By: Akinjide Fijabi, 16 Jul 2005
If like me you are looking for some sort of inspiration on business, real estate or the like, don't bother looking in here. This book is lacking in any real content. It was more of a product endorsement for anything from his favourite cars to his favourite ice cream. To show how useful this book was to me, I think the most worthwhile advice I got out of it is that unless you have a peculiarly shaped body, you don't need tailor made suits... Duh!
Everything else is common sense & doesn't take a genius to figure out. Sorry Mr Trump, I'm a big fan of yours but this is a let down. My copy would be going on Ebay with no reserve.
