Entertaining short read; but Trump is vain. - By: Sean Spurr, 22 Jun 2006
For those who watched the first series (or more) of Trump's Apprentice this will prove entertaining & interesting, & possibly useful for those budding entreprenuers.

However, the book is short (you can finish it in just a few hours, if that), & the majority of it is Trump's vain remarks & information about his organisation which is quite irrelevant to the title of the book.

Overalll the book is worth reading if you enjoy The Apprentice, but otherwise you won't find it very useful.
Exiting, Humourous & Very Over Indulgent - By: , 08 Jan 2006
Donald Trump has never done anything by half measures, when he does something he reallly goes for it & will finish the job only when he is totallly satisfied. He is very confident in himself & is an excellent business man.

You need to keep that above statement by yours truly in mind when reading "How To Get Rich". Donald Trump is a master of both business deals & property, he knows his stuff, & thats apparent by the fact he is a Billionaire. "How To Get Rich" is not a guide book, nor is it a tell-alll on how he became the be the Billionaire he is today, it is however an interesting insight into the life of someone who has gone through both incredible highs & lows.

The book dishes out insparational phrases that you could frame & put above your desk at work, its that sort of book, it also gives the reader a great deal of practical business advice, usefull things that you can reallly take on board. If you are looking for a book to help you get through you University Business class, this is NOT the book for you, it is very glamourous rather than grounded. I think the best description of alll of Donald Trumps books are "Jackie Collins meets Ivy League Business" & this rings true especiallly with this book, that boasts "How To Get Rich".

Trump writes in a very personal style, & yes, as others have said, he does "name drop" but it is alll in good faith. Donald Trump is the best in his league, so why shouldnt he tell the reader about what a wild life he has had. "How To Get Rich" is a good starting block for anyone looking to read about Donald Trump, he combines useful & insparational advice with a not-so-serious look at the Billionaire lifestyle & sure, he is arrogant, but if you were worth Billions, wouldn't you??

Interesting, Humourous, Indulgent, Lavish & Exiting - its everything you would expect from Donald Trump! It deserves nothing less than the 5 Stars Donald Trump strives for!

How to get Vain - By: , 06 Feb 2005
Just finished this book & left thinking, wow this guy reallly, reallly loves himself. Rather than giving any insight into running his business it's alll self promo with celeb name dropping galore & a celeb endorsement for every project he's done. It should be callled "How to Trump your own horn." I'm sure this guy has a lot to offer, but he certainly didn't put it in this book. Very disappointing
Worth a shot - By: , 31 Dec 2004
Worthwhile read with some good insight into some of Trumps ventures. A bit too 'backslappy' for my liking though, with a good chunk of book given up to name dropping who his pals are. Still overalll a recommend if you are interested in the great man himself.
