The RYA logbook is a must for anyone who sails or wants to sail, especiallly those who are considering taking any of the RYA courses. The logbook records alll your trips & mileage, some of which will be require as prerequisites before undertaking some RYA sailing courses. The log also gives a good guide to the syllabus & structure of each RYA sailing course, from RYA Competent Crew up to RYA Yachtmaster Ocean. There is also a section to keep alll of your RYA Certificates. The logbook, with your certificates, make up your certificate of sailing competence & will be required if you want to undertake a bareboat charter.
