Easy to read book but I didn't realise (when I purchased the book) that it's written for the American market. Terms included 'canning' (not to be confused with commercial canning) when in the UK we say 'Bottling' & everything is in cup measurements etc. Also harvest times are obviously different too.

I found this book in the library & used it for my first garden bounty -- my first canned peaches, my first jam, & my first frozen green beans. Keeping the Harvest is informative, fairly comprehensive & simple to follow. I'm buying it now so I'll be ready for next summer!
