As a professional botanical artist, I am always on the lookout for books on the subject, but none I have encountered, before or since first acquiring this book some 5 years ago, is anything like as comprehensive or inspiring as this. All techniques & media likely to be used by anyone wanting to produce pictures of plants (excluding photography) are covered clearly & thoroughly. In my experience, Keith West's advice is always sound, & the examples of his work shown throughout the book demonstrate that he can practice what he preaches. Indispensable!
