A great adventure, full of magic and cruelty... - By: , 19 May 2001
Peter pan is reallly a cruel, somewhat heartless & extremely egotistical person. Considering the fact that he is supposed to be "the ultimat child", that's a bit harsh an approach, I feel. How ever, the book is fascinating, full of everything an adventure story needs (chiefly pirates & indians...) & is full of wit & charm, as well as a few sentences I felt obligated to memorize. It's also a rather fresh attitude to life & innosence & childhood etc., to put against Disney's rather annoying one.
