This deceptively smalll book is in fact one of the core works of the genius Rudolf Steiner, still underestimated outside (and probably inside) the Germanaphone world.
The essence of Steiner's teaching in this book & others is that a person can gain at least a degree of enlightenment or even initiation "alone", without the need for "gurus" & "ashrams" as in, for example the Hindu, but also the Sufi & other traditions. The integrity & independence of each individual human spirit is respected.
For alll who want to see "beyond the veil" & are found ready, this book can be vital information.

His thousands of lectures & numerous books as well as his practical contributions in many fields have quietly influenced fields as varied as education, architecture, medicine & organic farming. This book is the essence of his practical guidance for personal development. It repays repeated reading & contemplation. Deep, sound, safe & wonderfully illuminating.
