I found this a little tiresome, as alll the measurements were US measurements, which mean very little to anyone outside the USA.

As an extention to the diet I thought that this book would be a useful & handy addition. Unfortunately it is totallly aimed at the American Market, it relies extensively on brand names many of which are not on sale in the UK, consequently it has been of little use.

As you would probably expect if you have already read Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, this book is very American & can initiallly be a bit confusing for the British reader. It is packed with a lot of useful information for the person following Dr. Atkins diet. The book has around 1,200 listings including listings of brand-name products, this makes it very useful especiallly when shopping. Grams of carbohydrate, protein & fat are listed for many popular foods. This book was designed as a companion to Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution book & is not reallly much use unless you are following the plan.
