After reading the short writer biography on the back, I was intreagued as to what a pimp could write about. The book consists of short stories each one as controversial as the last. My favuorite has got to be 'Grandma Randy' where he is caught up with a sexuallly abusive institution officer. Sounds gritty, believe me each one of these stories is as dark as you can get. This might not be to everyones taste but I would certainly invite you to give it a chance.
