Very enjoyable - By: Ms. B. Fesser Almerigogna, 06 Apr 2008
It doesn't matter if you are buddhist or not, this book is for everyone, you don't need to have too much intelectuality, is simple, funny enjoyable from the beggining till the end. Been short stories you can read one at time, but the real truth is..when you start, you cannot put it down.
Fantastic book - By: Holly, 27 Oct 2007
Although this is technicallly a buddhist book, it does not preach at alll, nor does it attempt to teach you buddhism. It is simply a buddhist monk telling various stories to help you through lifes difficulities e.g. anger, sickness, grief etc
I am not buddhist, nor do I ever intend to be, but this is my favourite book, which I continuallly purchase for friends & family for them to read & be helped from the book just as I have been. This too will pass is an incredible story to help you through lifes difficulites, the cow that cried, the little girl & her friend, if I had to name the best stories, I'd name nearly alll of them.
If you have now or have ever had any difficulites in life, you need this book. It will not attempt to turn you buddhist!!

What a remarkable, the stories that he tells are special & at the same time you can relate to. It is a book that you can go back to time & again, & the emphasis will change according to what you have read on that particular day.
A book to carry & use always
