The author says he'll let the pictures do the talking, & then goes on to provide a rather adequate text, despite some errors on general cultural references. Too pity, then, that the pictures themselves say little. Some covers are obviously scanned from magazines of the era; some important stuff is missing; & to top it alll, there's no index for a quick reference. Plus, the genius who designed the layout of the book has dispersed the text without bothering to offer a clue as to where one might find the next line.

Great subject, poor service...
