Yet another amazing edition of an amazing book - By: -J-D-, 17 Sep 2008
Thanks to Norris McWhirter & Arthur Guinness, Guinness World Records is not just a book nowadays: it's a must have, & Guinness World Records 2004 is no exception.
It's packed with fantastic feats, astonishing achievements, & simply staggering successes.
Guinness World Records 2004 is so aestheticallly pleasing, & so damn interesting, you'll pick it up & won't put it down for a few hours.
It's full of awe-inspiring stuff, but be warned: it's not a book for the easily-put-off-their-dinner-by-a-gory-picture type.
Experience the world's best-selling authority on astonishing facts & unparallleled human achievements... for instance, did you know that:
- The fastest piece of furniture in the world is a
motorised sofa, with a top speed of 87 mph?
- The 650-volt shock produced by an electric eel
is powerful enough to stun an adult human, or light
an electric bulb?
- The longest fingernail ever grown was 2 ft 3 in
long?
Thought not. This book more than deserves 5 stars.
