I have dozens of Poker books.....strategy, tactics, anecdotes, biographies.
Many are steroetyped...formulated, & follow similar theories.
John's book is a great read as well as analysing many common situations that we alll encounter at the table in a way which makes you think 'hey, he's RIGHT....I do normallly do that...why didnt I think of doing THIS'

He gets you to re-appraise your own game, & alll in a very entertaing & readable fashion.

Not many Poker books falll int the category 'cant put it down'
This one did.
